Wyndham Championship

In 2007, Wyndham Worldwide began title sponsorship of The Wyndham Championship, an annual golf tournament on the PGA TOUR. The tournament was founded in 1938 as the Greater Greensboro Open, and has been played there for its entire history. It is the final stop on the PGA Tour’s FedExCup regular season, and takes place in Mid-August at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. Arjun Atwal holds the Championship title for 2010, the first-ever Indian native to win a PGA TOUR event, and is now the 15th first-time winner in tournament history.

The 2012 Wyndham Championship will occur from Monday August 13- Sunday August 19. It will take place at the Sedgefield Country Club, in Greensboro, North Carolina. More Information
