Wyndham Xiamen implements a ‘loading strategy’ in which guests are assigned to specific areas of the hotel to avoid scattering guests throughout the entire building, thereby reducing the load on the chillers and HVAC equipment. This loading strategy also benefits the energy efficiency of the building by locating guests in areas that utilize solar heat.
