Paul Davis

Paul Davis is senior vice president of strategic sourcing for Wyndham Worldwide. He is responsible for leading the strategic sourcing team in developing, negotiating and implementing world-class sourcing solutions, maximizing return on highly leveraged spend across Wyndham Worldwide globally. The team also supports its hotel brands by seeking out new and innovative products and services that augment brand positioning and create competitive set differentiation.
Since joining Wyndham Worldwide in 2009, Davis has worked collaboratively with the business units to consolidate procurement across the company, establish a companywide procurement policy, implemented procurement technology solutions, worked with the international divisions to develop a global supply chain strategy and executed numerous new contracts.
Davis has over 20 years of hospitality operations and procurement experience with a focus in building and managing procurement organizations, negotiating distribution, manufacturer and service agreements, driving vendor performance as well as mitigating risk.
From May 1999 to April 2009, Davis’ was senior vice president of Global Procurement for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where he built out supply chain capabilities for the America’s, Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, Middle East and India. His previous experience includes sales, sales training and marketing for Kraft Foodservice and General Manager of Northwinds Lodge, a full service resort and golf club. He began his career managing restaurants, banquet and catering facilities.
Davis received a bachelor’s degree in business management from Penn State University.
