TRIPREWARDS MEMBERS NOW EARN DOUBLE POINTS FOR EACH STAY
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (February 5, 2007) –
From now through May 10, members of Wyndham Hotel Group's TripRewards® loyalty program will earn double points for each hotel stay as part of the On the Double promotion.
TripRewards members will receive twice the points for up to four double-point qualifying stays during the promotional period at participating Days Inn®, Ramada®, Super 8®, Howard Johnson®, Wingate Inn®, Baymont Inn & Suites®, AmeriHost Inn® and Knights Inn® hotels in North America or any Travelodge® hotel in the United States.
The points can be redeemed at www.triprewards.com through a partnership with SkyMall® an expanded collection of top name brands including Sony, Dooney & Burke, Philips, Garmin and many others, as well as services at many popular restaurants and stores including Best Buy™, JCPenney, Avis®, and Chili's®.
TripRewards members who select airline miles or rail points as their earning preference will receive double points in their chosen currency.
Current TripRewards members must register for the promotion online at www.triprewards.com or by calling, toll-free, (800) FOR TRIP – (800) 367-8747. Consumers who wish to participate in the promotion but are not current TripRewards members must first join the TripRewards program and then register for the promotion. The TripRewards program features approximately 6,000 hotels worldwide, points-earning opportunities with multiple internal and external earning participants and over 270 point-redemption options. It is the world's largest hotel loyalty program, based on the number of participating hotels.
Members may elect to earn TripRewards points, airline miles including Aeroplan miles or rail points for stays at Super 8®, Days Inn®, Ramada®, Howard Johnson®, Travelodge®, Knights Inn®, Wingate Inn®, Baymont Inn & Suites® or AmeriHost Inn® hotels. (Travelodge hotels in Canada do not participate in the TripRewards program.)
The program's "open earn" structure allows members faster access to point earning by staying in Wyndham Worldwide-franchised hotels and purchasing everyday products and services from earning partners such as Avis® and Budget®.
Likewise, TripRewards members can redeem their points for either hotel stays – with no blackout dates – or rewards including airline tickets, resort vacations, electronics, sporting goods, movie and theme park tickets and gift certificates.
A hassle-free online system allows members to check their point balance and redeem for rewards 24 hours a day.
