Evelin Potts, vice president, Talent Acquisition & Diversity Inclusion is responsible for the design and implementation of the diversity and inclusion strategy for Wyndham Worldwide.  The role incorporates the following: strategic planning, thought leadership to the Diversity Council, recruitment and hiring for strategic advantage, leadership development, external relationships and branding. 

Ms. Potts has extensive experience in the design and delivery of diversity programs for fortune companies including the development and delivery of awareness and skills programs, leadership of network groups, building partnerships with professional organizations, schools and universities and Board of Director membership in various non-profit community based organizations.  

Prior to joining Wyndham Worldwide, Ms. Potts held key leadership roles in both diversity and human resources for Prudential, Sony Electronics Inc. and The American Express Company.

Ms. Potts has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the YWCA of Essex and West Hudson counties, the Urban League of Bergen County and Partners in Philanthropy.  She has also served as a member of the Board of Trustees at the LINK School in Newark and a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.

In 2004, Ms. Potts was recognized as a Women of Achievement by the Girls Scouts of America and has earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Montclair University.
