About RSS
What is RSS?
RSS: Really Simple Syndication
RSS is a format used to syndicate news and other Web content. This includes major news organizations such as The New York Times, but also covers blogs and other types of content.
Wyndham Worldwide's RSS feed offers content summaries of media release updates, including a headline, a brief description of the article, and a link to the related Web page where you can read the full article.
What do I need to take advantage of RSS?
To be able to read the Wyndham Worldwide content summaries available via RSS service, you will need an RSS newsreader or aggregator. These applications are often available free of charge and are available as either a stand-alone program or one that uses your Web browsing software. You can find them by conducting an online search for “RSS readers.”
And when I have my RSS software installed…?
Wherever you see the RSS symbol
on the Wyndham Worldwide Web site, click on the symbol and a new window will pop-up with a Web address (URL) highlighted. Copy and paste this address into your RSS reader when prompted in the reader's "subscribe to" or "add RSS feeds" feature. Updates will be automatically "pushed out" to your reader, whenever relevant press releases are published on the Wyndham Worldwide Web site.
