Leidschendam, South Holland, Netherlands (August 18, 2015) – Landal GreenParks is expanding with a new park in Belgium: Landal Mooi Zutendaal. The park is situated just across the Dutch-Belgium border in one of the most verdant municipalities of the Belgian province of Limburg and on the edge of the Hoge Kempen National Park. The first guests will not arrive January 4, 2016 but reservations can now be made to secure your trip.

The park, which was already there, currently consists of 170 holiday homes, ranging from luxury types of modern wellness accommodation designed by Jan des Bouvrie (Dutch designer) to charming wooden villas and chalets. It also offers 100 exquisite camping pitches. An expansion of the park to create a further 60 residences is planned for 2017. The park also boasts a covered and open-air swimming pool, Grand café, a number of indoor and outdoor playgrounds and an adventure forest.

The area surrounding Landal Mooi Zutendaal offers an extensive network of cycling, walking and riding paths and charming towns such as Hasselt and Tongeren. Children will never get bored in the Belgian province of Limburg with attractions such as the Bokrijk open air museum, the Blotevoetenpad (barefoot trail) and Plopsa Indoor (amusement park). The park is an ideal base from which fans of culture can explore numerous museums, cultural heritage sites and learn more about the Limburg mining history.

“Landal Mooi Zutendaal is the third Landal site in Belgium and we are delighted to be able to add such a beautiful park in such a stunning location to our list of sites. There is a wealth of cultural and natural treasures for Landal guests to discover in the surrounding area,” explains Thomas Heerkens, CEO of Landal GreenParks.
